FACADE ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM

Overview

​

The Facade Enhancement Program was created and developed by our consultant 

C Johnson and Associates our SSA #32 management partner. This program provides a tangible and concrete way for Business Districts to encourage owner investment as well as commercial development along the 79th Street business corridor.

The Facade Enhancement Program offers Architectural Services to participants by providing grants up to $3,000 to eligible businesses located within the SSA #32 business district  Approved Grant recipients will receive the following services:

• One-on-one architectural consultations

• Professional renderings

• Financial resources and grants related to the proposed renovation

• Visible beautification of their store as a result of upgraded facade improvements

• Enhance the curb appeal of the 79th Street business district 

As part of the program's guidelines, all facade improvements must be visible to pedestrians on the main thoroughfare and must contribute to the overall beautification/improvement of the SSA #32 business district.

Program Eligibility Guidelines:

​

Any business or building owner located within SSA #32 seeking to invest in the improvement of their building's facade via the Facade Enhancement program must complete an application available through the SSA #32 Management office or downloaded via the PDF application link on the page.

All applications are must be approved by GAGDC Service Provider Agency and SSA #32 Management prior to starting any work and/or improvements. Click on the Facade flyer and rebate application for more information and program guidelines.
