About SSA#69
Special Service Area (SSA) #69 was created in 2015 as a bold Business Improvement District (BID) initiative designed to promote neighborhood commerce and shopping, improve area beautification and maintain streetscape in addition to providing security services on both sides of Ashland Ave from 80th street through 95th street.
One of the primary goals of SSA #69 is to encourage economic viability and maintain stability in the business community by promoting a safe, clean and viable business district.
Our “Build on Ashland,” marketing campaign is one of our newer initiatives designed to drive commercial and economic development along the Ashland business corridor.
The Greater Auburn Gresham Development Corporation (GAGDC) serves as a Primary Service Provider for SSA#69 and is entrusted with the funding, reporting and programming for neighborhood and business initiatives along the corridor.
C Johnson and Associates, is a female and minority owned Urban Planning consulting firm, specializing in SSA creation and management of day-to-day operational needs including strategic planning.
