The Special Service Area (SSA) 69 is a business district designed to fund and manage programs or improvements within a specific area of the community. Program revenue is generated by a special property tax levy to cover service or improvement costs. SSA revenue enables the municipality to provide a public service to a portion of its jurisdiction without burdening the entire community with a debt or operating tax.
